A friend of mine has recently gone through the same operation as the one I had back in February, 2009, that is, a prostate op to remove blockage between the bladder and the urethra. (Read this post as one example of the saga I went through.)
Once things had cleared up after the operation, I began to rejoice pretty much daily at being able to pee without hindrance. Until something is working as it should in the body, you don't realise just how much you put up with when it isn't. After having a common cold, for example, there seems nothing better than being able to breathe normally again; after breaking a bone, you realise - once you're better - just how marvellous the body is in all its workings[ Click here to read more ]
