Borrowers and Lenders
January 1st 2010 04:21
I've started using Google Alert again, just for interest's sake, and discovered today that a post I put on the Mission Resource site (the one I do at my work) about leadership has been referenced on a site written by someone working for the World Council of Churches.
The site is called, Of life, laughter and liturgy (a title which gives plenty of scope) and is run by Jane Stranz (pictured at left), a British woman, and an ordained minister of the United Reformed Church.
She found my post after Paul Fromont of Prodigal Kiwi picked it up, and she quotes not only his text, but mine as well.
Sometimes it seems that everyone's borrowing from everyone else on the Net! Perhaps we all need identity theft protection!
And I have to admit that I'd borrowed my original information from a real-life-actual-piece-of-pap er-newsletter that arrived at work. You never know where your words will wind up.
