Not dying - at this point
April 17th 2009 22:21
Well, this morning we went aquajogging - me for the first time since November last year.
Nothing fell off, and there are no aches and pains that I wouldn't have had from a normal session of aquajogging in the past. So that's another step forward on the health side of things.
I'd suddenly realised during this last week that I'm no longer getting really tired at work (to the extent that on occasions I'd had to go and have a quick snooze), and when I get home from work, I don't immediately need to go and lie down because I'm so knackered. So progress on that front too!
I've got a lot more energy: I'm now back to walking part of the way home again - which involves a decent uphill climb - and I'm trying to do more physical things to get back on track. As I noted in the last post: the weight was beginning to make its presence felt. That's something I can definitely do without.
So good all round. Maybe not off to celebrate in some Vegas hotels as yet, but neither am I lying around dying...
