Back to work as a theme (temporarily)
April 12th 2008 08:35
For those who remember when this blog focused on work and my working life – and prior to that on my inability to get a job – this is a brief return to the past in the sense that this post once again has a bit of a work focus. I’ll return to green things again soon.
I’ve recently begun yet another blog – it must be a disease, I think. This one I’m allowed to do in my work time – and I get paid for doing it as well. That’s because it focuses on posts that relate to resource material for Christian ministers; such things as reviews of new books, DVDs, information about what other church leaders are doing, innovations in the church scene and much more. In fact anything that I think may be of interest to these guys.
And though the people for whom it was first conceived – the ministers in the New Zealand Presbyterian church – have had it promoted to them, it hasn’t been promoted elsewhere to any degree. Hence this post.
If you’re of a mind, would you like to check it out, leave a comment there or here, tell me that I’m not entirely wasting my time (I may pay not attention to you, but be that as it may), let me know what you think, let me know if you think and so on.
It needs some new friends. How about it?
By the way there’s a photo of me (on the blog home page) wearing a t-shirt I got from the Podcamp in Birmingham – I’m not normally one to wear funny t-shirts (although I do have a couple) mainly because they just ain’t my style. But just in case you thought this was some crazed Presbyterian minister on the loose, be assured it’s only me.
